Fabulous February! 

So much going on this month - Kuwait's parliamentary elections, Valentine's Day, National Day, Liberation Day AND it's a leap year! Whatever occasion you are celebrating, you will find what you need at Crumbs.

We've been having so much fun with push-pops! National & Liberation Day is no exception with these patriotic push-pops in Kuwait flag colours - perfect for school parties and family gatherings. Crumbsaholics...not so anonymous 

This month we have  two ladies in their mid twenties who started a blog 2 years ago called Moody N' Cheeky, and are both huge Crumbs fans! 

Moody first tried Crumbs in 2010 while passing by the Avenues branch; she loved the mouthwatering display and bought 3 boxes of cookies, cupcakes and brownies.  It's hard for her to choose a favourite Crumbs treat, but she does especially enjoy the Krispie Marshmallow brownies.

As for Cheeky, she first tried Crumbs in 2009 when her brother brought home a box of cookies. Cheeky is particular about her cookies, so she was surprised at how 'melt in your mouth' delicious the cookies were. Cheeky lives in Dubai and makes sure she gets a dose of Milk Chocolate Chunk Cookies whenever she's in town. She's also a fan of the Toffee Shortbread cookies.

February Special! 
   

This month we have a lovely cake that we decided to call Chay ou 7aleeb, because - as you may have already guessed - it goes perfectly with a cup of tea and milk...and if made on top of a fire pit (duwa) even better! It's a pound cake flavoured with orange and cardamom, baked with a swirl of crumbled rahash in it's center. We could not get enough of this cake in the testing stage! We would make excuses to make it again and again, even though it was perfect from the first try! Make sure you try this cake...only available during February.
